Archer — Unpack and Assembly

The standard Archer kit includes:
- Archer robotic arm
- Controller
- Power adapter
- Two C-type 3-inch clamps
- One mounting plate
- Aviation connector cable
- Mounting screws
- Gripper (optional)
Assembly
Archer wiring is straightforward: connect the controller and power adapter.
1. Clamp the mounting plate to the desk

2. Fasten the arm base to the plate with screws at the four corners

3. Plug in the aviation connector
Align the raised key on the connector base and plug, then push firmly until you hear a click.

4. Connect the cable to the controller CAN port
Note
- For a single-arm setup, connect the arm to
can0. - For multiple arms, only two arms may be connected to one controller at a time, on
can0andcan1respectively. - Controller models may vary by shipment; follow the same connection rules.

5. Install the gripper (if included)

6. Check the arm termination resistor
A termination resistor must be present at the arm end; if a gripper is installed, the resistor moves to the gripper.

7. Connect the power adapter

Assembly complete.
